Hi finally managed to complete this after multiple times of repainting and re-designing the town. This is something inspired by my stay here in Japan. When I first watched Tekkonkinkreet, i thought the background art was beautiful. As i wandered and obeserved, i realised it didn't exist only as an art in the film.

The town does exist in Japan. Or rather towns looking as beautiful as the background art can be seen. In awe, i did a concept i had in mind with most of the designs from what i had seen or what i thought i had seen. Imaginarily fishing while standing on a billboard. What is 'imaginary"? The fishes or the town? Seem's like what i used to think is 'imaginary' is tangible enough now.
Standing on the bridge of Shibuya at sunset, my mind took things into play. Beyond the golden clouds, divinity was redefined. Thereafter i took it into photoshop and created this. It was an exciting process and i thoroughly enjoyed painting this.
By the time the city of darkness regained its source of power, people took time in adjusting their eyes to the bright lights.
