2nd piece as promised. This is a series inspired by the song 'Mad World' by Donnie Darko. I wanted to convey more than just a trigger-happy scene. I thought about the lyrics in the song, and i wanted to convey the feel in this piece. In the heat of a battle where seconds could mean life and death, the fastest bullets are slowed down, heaviest debris float in mid air and noises reduced to silence.
It has been proven that the biological clock in humans really do slow down in such near-death incidents. Be it real or just a sensation, devastation, hopelessness and sheer madness is what i hoped to attain here.
